Message A wonderful day dear students!

My name is Teacher Tobey. ^_^
Nice to meet you here!
I am what's called a Japanophile.
It means I love Japanese culture and its people! <3 <3 <3

At my university, I took up International Studies because I love learning about geography, world cultures, peoples and especially, their languages.

My TOEIC score is 955/990.

I have taught English for more than two
years now, from kids to adults and to the elderly. And I must say, the Japanese personality is very endearing to me. I'm so delighted to have met and befriended many Nihonjin because it has been my childhood dream to have many Japanese friends. This is why I'm also studying Nihonggo.

My dream in the future is to become a successful Anison and J-Pop singer and also a mangaka! In my free time, I rehearse a lot of English and Japanese songs. I also write and develop my own stories and characters so that in the future, I can get published in Shonen Jump Magazine! :-O

My style in teaching English is very cheerful, energetic and omoshiroii!
And if you have difficulty in speaking, that's alright, because I can speak a little Japanese. I can guide you to learning English the easy and fun way, so "Hazukashii garanaide ne?" ^_^

I am looking forward to meet you soon!
Yoroshiku onegaishimasu! :-D

Thank you so much, Tobey.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the Video 'Brutal Truth about Homosexuality in the Islam' that you kindly selected on April 24 2024.
There are some difficult and unfamiliar words in the video, especially in the latter part of the video, I will pick them out.
After watching it, I realized that most of the Japanese wouldn't have been aware of the dark side of Isram.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to continuing the same material in your next class.

Thank you so much, Tobey.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article '8 sexist laws you won’t believe still exist' that you kindly selected on April 22 2024.

During this lesson, I learned about the sexist laws of Jordan, Belarus and Saudi Arabia.
Especially, the Jordan law is atrocious. Killing people is justified, it's unbelievable, insane and cruel.

By the way, I have no experience of my PC being hacked by other colleagues.
Our company provides laptops to employees, the ownership belongs to the company.
They have administration right of the laptop, so they can access the laptop.
Even the owner, to access the laptop, permission is necessary. No one can directly access my laptop without my permission.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to continueing the same article in your next class.

Thank you so much, Tobey.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article "8 sexist laws you won't believe still exist" that you kindly selected on April 18 2024.
During this lesson, I learned sexist laws of Sudan and Iran.
As I mentioned in the lesson, the case of Sudan reminds me of a warlord in ancient Japan.
Maeda Toshiie , one of the leading generals in the 16th century, got married a 12-year-old girl.
Of course, according to the current Japanese law, women under age of 18 are not allowed to marry a man.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to continueing the same article in your next class.

Teacher Tobey, right now someone is hacking your Skype again? Is she doing it again?

Hi Teacher Tobey. I heard about the bad incident. So they hacked your account again?! Did the hacker feel remorse after it or did they ignore your concern as an employee, again? And she also disturbed you in the middle of your class again, today! That's so terrible!

Now the hacker wants to get your contact number! After she hacked your skype last week, now they want to intrude your privacy even more. Can you still trust her after all this abuse? If it's me, I should report this. Please update us about situation in the chat. My family feels bad for you, Teacher Tobey. Take care.

It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article '8 sexist laws you won’t believe still exist' that you kindly selected on April 11 2024.
Before reading the article, I watched a video about the growing number of Muslims in Japan.
However that video shows only the good aspect of the growing Muslim population, as Japan is trying to embrace diversity.
Many poeple know Islam would a very strict religion, but I suppose that they should understand what the Isram is.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to continueing the same article in your next class.

Hi Tobey-san! How are you feeling recently? Did manager hack your skype account again? You caught her in the act, right? Did she admit to the crime or deny again? Please share to me next time in chatbox.

My family are busy recently so please enjoy our gift classes. I hope your company will really help you with this abuse. I feel bad for you as customer. We don't want Tobey to be abused. Take care.

It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article '8 sexist laws you won’t believe still exist' that you kindly selected on April 13 2024.
As I mentioned before moving to this article, I never have breakfast and lunch, because if I had three meals a day, my total carrory I take would exceed a fixed carrory for an adult male.
In addition, I'm a big eater (glutton) and likely to get obese.
To alleviate my appetite and avoid stomach grumbling, I take bivalleges and a few snacks.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to continueing the same article in your next class.

It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article 'The Unstoppable Rise of Islam In Japan - 2023' that you kindly selected on April 3 2024.
I haven't known that the number of Muslims in Japan is increasing until I watched the video.
I knew that some Japanese people become Muslims in order to do business in Islamic countries.
Surprisingly, some of the Muslims are native Japanese people.
I wonder what brought them become Muslims.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Tobey.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article "7 signs you're dealing with a micromanager (and how to manage them)" that you kindly selected on April 1st 2024.
This article has some very practical ways to deal with micromanagers.
Nowadays, there are many micromanagers, not only in small and medium-sized companies, but also in famous and large companies.
In the past, one of my ex-supervisors was a micromanager. I tried the ways in the article, but they were in vain. This was a bitter memory.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Tobey.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always.
As I mentioned in the lesson, I’ve rarely been told that I look like someone famous and asked who I look like.
However, I have told that I resemble a minor actor who played in one of the Super Sentai Serie only one time.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to continuing the same article '7 signs of micromanagement' at your next class.

Thank you so much, Tobey.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article '7 signs of micromanagement' that you kindly selected on March 25 2024.
I have learned the following four ways to deal with micromanagers from the article.
1. Try to understand
2. Have an honest conversation
3. Try and get ahead
4. Escalating the issue
I believe that they will be quite effective to deal with them.
However, they are not effective to heinous supervisors based on my experience.
In the past, I did the four ways to deal with supervisors, but unfortunately all of them were in vain.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to continuing the same article at your next class.

Thank you so much, Tobey.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article '7 signs of micromanagement' that you kindly selected on March 21 2024.
As I mentioned in the lesson, one of my ex-bosses in my previous company was evil, because he never approved any documents that had even minor mistakes, like typos. For instance, I asked him to get approval of my output document, but the document unfortunately had minor mistakes, he completely stopped the confirming the document.
This incident is just like the "1. Not seeing the wood for the trees".
Anyway, I'm looking forward to continuing the same article at your next class.

Thank you so much, Tobey.
I looked for data on what month fire accidents occur the most in a year in Japan.
According to the statistics data, March is the worst month of a fire incident.Sorry, I said the wrong information.
This is because the air gets dry and the wind get strongest in March. In addition, March is still cold and many people use heaters.
Anyway, I look forward to continuing the "7 signs you're dealing with a micromanager (and how to deal with them)" in your next class.

Thank you so much, Tobey.
It was a pleasant, tactful class as usual from the material based on the article '7 signs you're dealing with a micromanager (and how to manage them)' you kindly chose on 13rd March 2024.
The part of the article at this lesson explained what makes you a micromanager.
I agree with the opinion that an employee who had great achievements in the past are willing to get accolade again as a manager. The behavior makes him/her to become a micromanager.
However, the ability to manage and control other colleagues and having expertise, insight and effort are completely different. You should realize the fact to prevent from being a micromanager.
Let us continue this article at the next class.

Thank you so much, Tobey.
It was a pleasant, tactful class as usual from the material based on the article '7 signs you're dealing with a micromanager (and how to manage them)' you kindly chose on 12nd March 2024.
As remote working has become common lately, there are some micromanagers who bother their subordinates.
For that reason, it seems that the headline is quite practical.
Let us continue this article at the next class.

Thank you so much, Tobey.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the Youtube Video 'Airline starts to weigh luggage AND passengers' that you kindly selected on March 5, 2024.
The most effective way to accurately calculate the total weight of an aircraft, including passengers for safe take-offs and landings is an automatic weighing system.
To implement this method, a walkway leading to the aircraft embeds a secret scale, and it automatically weighs all the passenger's weights without the passengers noticing.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Tobey.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the Youtube Video 'Top 10 Products That Are DESIGNED to FAIL' that you kindly selected on March 3, 2024.
As I mentioned in the lesson, for these past few years, I have replaced a refrigerator, a large-screen liquid crystal TV and a Hard-disk-based digital video recorders. But all of them were durable. For example, I had used the previous refrigerator for 10 years. However, I realize that manufacturers intentionally do planned obsolescence. However, quite high-tech products that are durable should be respected more, because the engineers strived to develop the products. For that reason, I can admit the planned obsolescence to a certain extent.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.
