Hello! Have a pleasant day, everyone! ! This is Ms. CHERRY PIE CAPADNGAN,
and you can call me teacher PIE. I graduated at Cebu Normal University and earned a degree of Bachelor of Science in Biology. I am a licensed professional teacher, too. Aside from teaching, I love cooking, singing, and socializing with people. I also love sports specifically, volleyball because this is one of the best ways of maintaining a healthy body. I enjoy spending time in nature, too. I am very much excited and ready to share my knowledge, capabilities and skills with you guys. I assure that you can learn a lot from me. See you in my class.

（ご両親が共に教育者の家庭に育ちましたが、フィリピンで人気のスポーツ、バレーボールの選手として大学まで活躍しました。学業も優秀で奨学金生徒であり、地域の子供たちのために指導的なボランティアを行ったりと幅広く活躍しています。とても明るく優しく朗らかな感じです。笑顔と大きな笑い声にファンが多いようです。）

It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Japan's Foreign Residents Now over 4 Million' that you kindly selected for me on 1 April 2026.
I believe that the number of foreign residents won't decrease unless the Japanese Yen strengthens.
Furthermore, Japan's high level of public safety and quality of life attract residents and encourage them to stay long-term.
Meanwhile, tourism to Japan might decline due to rising fuel costs caused by the conflict between the US and Iran.
I recommend that the Japanese government prioritises other industries over the tourism industry, because tourism cannot fundamentally strengthen the Japanese economy.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class. |

It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Taiwan And Japan Form Strong Partnership For Industry And Tourism' that you kindly selected for me on 31 March 2026.
Taiwanese companies such as Foxconn and TSMC are well known in Japan as high-tech leaders.
Meanwhile, local governments in rural Japan are eager to attract such companies to boost their tax revenue.
For this reason, Taiwan and various rural cities have forged strong partnerships in both industry and tourism.
However, this trend implies that there are few domestic companies capable of investing within Japan.
I suggest that the Japanese government take measures to incentivize domestic companies to increase their domestic investment.

The Japanese government's decision to expand underground shelters surprised me, as it shows they acknowledge the current geopolitical instability.
I appreciate their resolve, as they seem determined to protect the nation.
At the same time, we cannot predict when or where a potential attack might occur in Japan.
Therefore, it is essential that we take individual measures to prepare for such emergencies within our own homes.

It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Japan's Vending Machine Culture Hits Hard Times' that you kindly selected for me on 27 March 2026.
As this article mentioned, there are tons of vending machines in Japan. In the Tokyo metropolitan area, you can see them every 50 to 100 meters.
However, I seldom purchase any beverages from vending machines due to the high prices, except for the ones in our office.
The drinks in our office vending machines are less expensive than those outside, because our company provides some sort of subsidy. As long as I'm in the office, I sometimes purchase beverages from the vending machines there.
