Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article 'Adopt a Goat, If You Can Catch It, Says Italian Mayor' that you kindly selected on April 23 2024.
As I mentioned in the lesson, this article reminds me of the issue of the 'Reeves muntjac (Kyon)' in Chiba Prefecture in Japan.
The Reeves muntjac looks like a small deer, and it is recognized as a prolific / fertile animal.
About four decades ago, some deer escaped from a zoo and the number of the deer has been increasing, because the environment is really suitable for them, even though some local people hunt them
People often say that the meat of the 'Reeves muntjac' is delectable. So, I'd like to enjoy it some say.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article 'What Makes Denmark the Second-Happiest Nation?' that you kindly selected on April 19 2024.
According to the article, Danes like to follow a famously self-deprecating social code 'PYT'.
I suppose that most of Japanese people, especially Japanese men are likely to have a similar self-deprecating mind-set.
In addition, Japan has a good welfare, such as National public health insurance, social safety net, etc.
However, Japan is not ranked in the World Happiness Report.
For that reason, I believe that other elements are cruail in deciding whether to be happy or not.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article 'Water Guns at Full Blast for Thai New Year Festivities' that you kindly selected on April 17 2024.
I haven't known that Songkran is a famous festival in Thailand until I read the article.
Local and unique festival as a specialty can boost economic condition
I suggest that every government should try to maintain local festivals with subsidies.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article 'Japan's Healthcare Appeal: The Rise of Medical Tourism' that you kindly selected on April 12 2024.
The Japanese government is currently promoting the introduction of 'My Number', a new identification system that assigns a number to each citizen. The unique number is recorded in a My Number card.
This card can be used as a certification card for National Health Insurance.
The implementation of this system can prevent a crime of falsification of the National Health Insurance.
As I said in the lesson, Japanese citizens have to pay the Public Health Insurance fee, but the fee is rising every year.
The fee is deducted from our salaries as a tax every month. I support this idea to prevent our taxes from being used for the crime.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article 'Nature's Impact on Time Perception' that you kindly selected on April 9 2024.
In general, the older people get, the more likely they are to say, "Time flies so fast" and "Time has flown by".
I totally agree with the idea of that one's sense of time passage is subjective and is related to factors.
When I was in elementary school, I felt that time went by slowly.
Meanwhile, I really feel that time passes quickly after I started working.
I assume that an idea of making people feel as if time is passing slowly would be a profitable business opportunity.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article 'Kyoto Geisha Area Closed to Visitors' that you kindly selected on April 5 2024.
In order to protect the Kyoto Geisha from any harm, the Kyoto local government should build a large institution where the geisha can work comfortably.
Customers must pay an entrance fee. In addition, they have to learn short manners and rules before they can enjoy her service.
However, it seems that there are sifficinet space to build it and it must be pricey to build it with suitable shape and appearance towards the Kyoto city.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article 'Four Superstitions Many People Believe' that you kindly selected on April 2 2024.
As I mentioned in the lesson, there are some unique superstitions in Japan.
I thought that one of the superstitions, "Don't cut your nails at night", originated in Japan.
However, I was a little surprised to find that this superstition also exists in Philippines.
The pronunciation of "Don't cut your nails at night" sounds the same as "shortening your life".
This is the reason why "Do not cut your nails at night".
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article 'Order Up! Paris Celebrates 110-Year-Old Waiter Race' that you kindly selected on March 28 2024.
In general, a waiter or a waitress should be polite and friendly to customers in Japan.
I thought that a moody waiter or a waitress could ruin a coffee shop or a restaurant.
For this reason, I realized that this is a cultural difference between France and Japan.
Meanwhile, the Water Race is intersetring. As I said, I wonder wheter the glass of water on a tray is full or not. If the runner spills the water, are they put out of the race?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article 'BAT: Identifying Burnout Risk' that you kindly selected on March 27 2024.
As I mentioned in the lesson, the possibility of BAT depends on generations.
For instance, I believe that senior geenrations are more likely to have the BAT.
Meanwhile, younger generations are less likely to have the BAT, because they make much of their private time and consider working in time to be a virtue.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article 'Only 7 Countries Meeting Air Quality Standards' that you kindly selected on March 26 2024.
As I mentioned in the lesson, in order to measure 'air quality', all sensors must be the same model or to be tuned and maintained correctly.
However, I suppose all the sensors are different types and models and the quality of them must be different. So, I suppose the survey result might be a little bit unfair.
I realized that "yellow dust", which is often reported in a weather news, is called "Asian dust", and it comes not only from China, but from the western part of Asia.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article 'Replacing Dairy: Plant-Based Alternatives for Health' that you kindly selected on March 23 2024.
As I said in the lesson, I haven't had cow's milk for a few years to avoid having too many calories.
However, I sometimes take other dairy products such as Cheese, Yogurt, etc. The taste is good and they are good condiment.
In general, having a lot of dairy products can cause diseases, but I would not purchase plant-based alternatives.
I often go to grocery stores and can see some plant-based alternatives, but the prices are expensive or the quantity is small.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article 'Academic year in Japan starts in April but other colleges and Universities start in October.' that you kindly selected on March 22 2024.
As I said in the lesson, I'm against the idea of the 'Academic year in Japan starts in October' for the following reasons.
1) Waiting for 6 months after high-school graduation to start the academic year in a university would be a waste of time.
Wealthy people wouldn't have this concern, but most of the families can't afford to let their children waste the time.
2) Most of Japanese universities and colleges have the same academic year, the decision must be a big disadvantage to get a job.
Most companies don't wait additional 6 months for students to graduate from universities or colleges.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.
